Sasuke unleashed this fire-based ninjutsu, incinerating numerous snakes, and the ensuing battle demolished the building where two fought.
They soon found themselves outside the base, continuing their confrontation.
Despite lurking from a distance, no assistance was offered.
Uchiha Sasuke's formidable speed and strength, coupled with the Sharingan's ability to anticipate Orochimaru's movements, kept the latter consistently behind. Orochimaru's weakened state and incompletely healed hands were the only reasons Sasuke maintained the upper hand.

As Uchiha Sasuke's Chidori once again pierced Orochimaru's body, Orochimaru abruptly separated from his host, transforming into the true form of a white-scaled serpent.
