Chapter XXXIV: Favors.
Last Time.
"That crazy bitch broke in a few hours ago with the rest of these idiots. Took something up the tower and then blew up the staircase." They nodded before turning to the staircase "Wait! Sorry, I forgot: A couple of them took one of the docs. Quinn said something about needing her to fix up the Joker."
"We'll get her back," Naruto said before they left, and saw the destroyed staircase.
Naruto ran up the wall and stopped under a ladder leading up to a door as Batman grappled up. They climbed up and heard it lock as they saw a bunch of TVs, and two mannequins dressed like the Joker with a remote sniper rifle.
"Joker must-have remote controlled the gun," Batman said before using his vision to scan it suddenly, the Joker with sores on his face came up on the TVs. (1.)
"Well, look who it is. I haven't seen you for how long has it been? Let's see. There was an army of mine hopped up on Kobra-Venom, a big fight. Oh, that's right. You left me to die back then. Probably not how you remember it, but who cares? You just need to worry about the bombs. Hurry up now. Clock's ticking." Suddenly screens came up counting down from '10', and they jumped out the window.
BOOM!
The tower blew up before they landed on a billboard, and called up Alfred. "Alfred. We've got a lock on the signal used to remote control the sniper rifle. Joker's behind this."
After a second, Alfred spoke up. "Was there ever any doubt?" Naruto jumped to the roof as a box showing the signal's strength came up.
"The radio signal should lead us right to him." Batman finished before they took off.
"Good luck sir," Alfred said before his box turned off.
Now.
Gotham; Arkham City January 18, 18:00 EST.
Kage dropped on top of a bridge leading to the Steel Mill, now serving as Joker's Funland, and stepped on something. Looking down, he saw a mask made from burlap with a gas mask on it and shook his head. "Someone must have found that... I don't think he survived after Croc got him." Batman's shadow flew over him, forcing Naruto to look up.
He saw Batman grapple on a crane, and fly up to continue gliding to the Steel Mill. Naruto was about to follow but stopped when he heard Joker over the area's PA. system. "Welcome Inmates. You are now taking your first, tentative steps towards a better world." Naruto sighed as he jumped up to the crane, and jumped after Batman.
"A world of fun, mischief, and best of all, a world where the only person you need to listen to is yours truly." Joker continued as Naruto had clones attack the guards on the smokestacks at the entrance.
He saw the last guard was in a sleeper hold before jumping on a tower and waited for Batman. "Listen up, dumb asses, and listen carefully."
Naruto heard Harley on the PA. but tuned her out as Batman landed beside him, and called Alfred. "Alfred. We need a way into the Sionis Steel Mill."
After a moment, Alfred spoke up. "Have you tried the front door, sir?" Naruto held in a chuckle as Batman continued.
"Why didn't I think of that?"
"It was obviously too easy. Let's see... If all other access routes are locked down, the only way in would be... No... It's suicide." Naruto looked to the smoke stack and sighed.
"It's never easy." He said jumping up followed by Batman.
They soon dropped down and saw molten metal before Naruto shot two arrows to each side at the bottom. The shafts popped off, and a rope shot out of each head and clamped on each side allowing them to drop on it. They jumped/glided to the floor and ran to the end, sliding under a fallen floor. "Hold up!" Naruto said getting up and saw the way down to the next floor covered in flames.
"I've got an idea," Batman said pulling his Bat Claw out, and pointed to a closed pipe.
He shot at it, having Naruto, and him pull open the door having water cool the coals. They jumped down and saw the way caved in, forcing them to climb to the edge, and shimmied over. Getting up, they saw a railing over the steel and walked to the other side. "There's a place to get down here," Naruto said pointing to a weak wall.
Batman pulled out a vial of explosive gel and attached it to a glue gun.
Putting the gel on the floor, it exploded having them drop down. They walked under a set of pipes and saw steam covering an opening from open pipes. Batman threw a Batarang past Naruto's head, up to a button having the pipes close, and then walked into a vent. Walking to the main room, they heard Joker's gang talk about Joker faking being sick before stopping at a wired vent, and saw Harley pull a doctor from a room at the top of the ceiling.
"I promised you some entertainment, right, boys?" She asked as Naruto saw a muscular man missing his left arm with white face paint and green hair on the side of his head.
"Please! I did my best!" The doctor said.
She has short light brown hair and dark brown eyes.
"Well, you should have tried harder," Harley said kicking her own to the floor. That useless quack has failed Mister J. And you know what that means?" The inmates started chanting 'Kill' as the muscular man grabbed a sledgehammer. Kage and Batman continued walking the vent to the middle of the room and saw the Doctor lean against another grated vent. The man lifted the hammer but stopped as Harley yelled out. "Stop! Change of plans."
"Take her to the melting chamber. Mister J wants this one to suffer a little longer!" Naruto turned his vision on and saw the men with guns leave as a small group stayed. "Right then, the rest of you idiots get out of here. You know what you've got to do! Go get the snowman and bring him back here RIGHT NOW! He's going to pay for screwing over Mister J. I need him back here like yesterday!"
They walked under the stairs and saw steam blocking their way under a grated floor. "I'll find the cut-off switch," Batman said turning around and followed the pipe back. After waiting a moment, the steam stopped and Batman came back. They walked under the group and jumped up out of the floor knocking two men out.
Naruto jumped to another and uppercutted him into the air as Batman kicked him into a barrel. Naruto blocked two punches and jumped up as a third ran at him, and kicked him before slamming the two men's heads together and breaking the knee of another. Naruto threw several arrows around the room, and they exploded in smoke having them easily knock the rest of the men out.
"What the hell are you two doing here?! You're supposed to be dead!" Naruto looked up to see Harley at the door of the room, hands on her hips. "Well, there's no way you're getting to Mister J. We're safe and sound up here. You two can just stay down there and burn!" She finished before walking back as Batman talked to Alfred about saving the Doctor.
"Kage... There's a man out on the Ferris wheel drawing your clan's symbol on the seats... I think he wants to talk." Naruto heard Miss Martian over his earpiece and looked at Batman.
"There's another problem outside... I'll catch up to ya." (1.)
(A/N: Everything from Batman saving the Doctor to him getting kicked out of the window by the Joker is canon and will be skipped.)
"OK, babe, I'll see what he wants. Have the Bio-Ship drop a kunai down at it." After a moment Naruto felt a pull before flashing on a broken Ferris wheel. He saw a man dressed like a knight with a white shirt with a cross on it, and a red hood with a mask.
"Kage. The time draws near... Are you ready?" He asked in a deep voice before having a blade pop out of his right arm, carved a symbol on the seat he was on, and had a light flash. Naruto shielded his eyes as he heard the man again. "Search for the symbols." Naruto looked at the symbol and scanned it.
"That guy sounds a little like Aqualad," Naruto said before putting a hand to his ear. "Miss Martian; search the prison for any symbols like this one." The Bio-Ship flew past him as he sat down.
"I found three more. They seem to create a master sigil fitting a map of Arkham City; and they mark a point on the map, behind the church."
Naruto nodded before jumping up to the ship and flew to the church. When he got to it he dropped down and saw a large symbol on the wall at the back of the church. He scanned it, and suddenly, the man dropped down sliding on the wall. The man looked at him and spoke. "Kage, the warrior not of this world. Father of the Twins of Balance."
"By now you already know that the one born of darkness seeks a final confrontation with the one born of light. Know this now, the day they clash, the earth they tread on will shake and crumble. When the dust settles, reconciliation will begin... And a dark remnant of your past will return." The man disappeared in a flash of light and smoke causing Naruto to sigh.
"Another prophecy? Great. (Sigh) I swear, sometimes I think my life's just a comic or manga. Nah! Half the stuff I've done wouldn't make any sense, and just confuse and piss off the readers. Although... I could maybe write it for some extra income... The girls have been getting a lot of expensive stuff. And I still miss everyone from home. Especially Hinata and Samui. They were real-!" He stopped as he heard yelling in his earpiece. "I HEARD THAT EXPENSIVE REMARK!"
"AAHH-OWW!" Naruto yelled as he heard Artemis yell, and the squealing of his earpiece. "I was kidding!"
Catwoman and Cheshire, Arkham City Vault; January 18, 18:35 EST.
"'It'll be easy', she says," Cheshire said as they looked at the closed entrance of the vault. "'It won't take long, we'll be in and out before anyone knows we're there', she says." She continued as Catwoman looked at the sentry guns protecting the top of the walls before looking at a flower shop with a large vine through it.
"Sounds like our boys will be busy for a while," Catwoman said breaking Cheshire's train of thought. "Gives us some time to play." Cheshire raised an eyebrow at that.
"What? We can't get past tha..." She trailed off as Catwoman pointed to the shop. "Oh, come on! You want Ivy's help?! Aren't you two on bad terms?"
"She'll forgive me... But we need to stop, and get my tools at my place first." Catwoman replied jumping across the rooftops with Cheshire following after.
Going back to the apartment beside the courthouse, they dropped to the cage and saw four of Two-Face's Men with several cats walking around on the catwalk. They opened two small doors, and Cheshire put on gloves that help her hold on to the ceiling grates and crawled with Catwoman above a man each.
They dropped down on the two men before jumping to the other two, and slammed their heads on the fence, knocking them out. Catwoman jumped up to a window and went in.
A minute later, she came out with two pouches on her hip. One with bolas, and the other filled with caltrops. "OK, let's go."
They jumped out of the cage and ran towards the bay across the rooftops. A while later, they saw several men guarding a hotel covered in vines with pink mist around their heads. "Well, what do we have here? Weird, out-of-place plants... Check. Mindless hypnotized henchmen... Check. The oh-so-subtle odor of rotting pumpkins... Check." Catwoman said before jumping to the building with the men on it and hung off the ledge with Cheshire.
When two got to the ledge, they grabbed them and pulled them off with wires holding them off the ledge. The last two men walked over and were pounced by Catwoman and Cheshire. They walked to the cage covering the entrance and frowned as vines kept the door close. "OK, Catwoman... How are we..." Cheshire trailed off as Catwoman went under the ramp, and crawled to a door past the vines. "Wait up!" Cheshire followed, and they went inside the door.
"Hello? Ivy? You here?" Catwoman asked looking at the plants covering the wall. "You shouldn't have come here!" The plants moved showing Poison Ivy wearing nothing but a red silk shirt with only one button showing her cleavage and midriff with leaves forming green panties.
Cheshire blinked at that before fantasizing about her wearing the same outfit and playing out a fantasy of her being a prisoner while being punished by Naruto, playing as a prison guard. She coughed and moved her mask to wipe the blood away from her nose before Catwoman spoke up. "Oh c'mon. You're not seriously going to hold that against me forever, are you?"
"You killed them all," Ivy replied as the plants moved with her anger.
"They were just flowers, Ivy..."
Cheshire face palmed at that before seeing more men come out of the plants as Ivy moved up several floors. "Really Selena? This is how you mend bridges? By telling the plant lady; 'They were just flowers'?!" They fought the men before seeing mist come up from the plants. "Move up!" Cheshire yelled jumping up a floor.
They fought more men and escaped the mist for several floors before stopping by Ivy. Who had a vine wrap around them, and pulled them upside down. "You've got some nerve, Selena," Ivy said sauntering over to them.
Cheshire sighed as she saw another vine in front of her. 'I bet this is going to take a few hours.' She thought with a frown. 'And I bet Naruto's having a better time than I am.'
Naruto; Joker's Funland January 18, 19:00 EST.
Naruto sneezed as he heard Hugo over the PA. saying 'Protocol 10' will start in ten hours. "Someone must be talking about me." He looked up at the chimney they used to get in and saw fire coming out of it. "Guess I'll have to find another way in." He jumped to the main building and saw Batman fall out of a window strapped to a wheelchair and fall to the ground.
Dropping down, Naruto saw a bruise on his face, a few holes in his cape, and the arms of his armor with an iPhone taped to his chest. Batman got up and pulled the phone off as it rang with the Joker's laugh. Answering it they saw a video chat with Joker on the other end. "We're listening." Joker chuckled at that before speaking.
"Is someone feeling a little down? Oh! Kage is back with you. Good!" Batman glared before speaking.
"Where's the cure?"
Naruto raised an eyebrow before Batman explained Joker doesn't know anything about 'Protocol 10', and that he sent his infected blood all over Gotham's hospitals, and injected him with it so he'll find the cure for the illness.
"I had our cold-hearted friend, Mister Freeze, making it. But he's gone dark on me." Joker replied with a cough.
"We'll find him," Batman replied as Joker smiled.
"I bet you wi-!"
Batman crushed the phone before taking out the card and placed it in his holo-computer. "Alfred. Joker's poisoned me. He may have poisoned Gotham too. Mister Freeze has the only cure."
"What are you waiting for then? He's in Arkham City. Find him!" Alfred said making Batman sigh.
"If only it was that simple. He'll be somewhere cold. He needs to be kept at sub-zero temperatures to survive." He said as Naruto looked at the ocean.
"I don't wish to worry you. But it is the middle of winter out there." Alfred said making Batman nod.
"We noticed. I've calibrated the cowl to track heat signatures. We'll find the coldest point in Arkham City." Batman finished before Naruto spoke up.
"So we're looking for the coldest place in the city for Freeze?" Naruto typed on his holo-computer with Batman and another box showing the climate on his glasses. "This way," Naruto said jumping up and stayed on the buildings near the water as the numbers hit below freezing.
"Whoo! I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier."
Naruto's eyes widened hearing Joker over his earpiece. "Ah crap!" Naruto said jumping on a crane.
"A hot-line straight to my two bestest friends in the whole world. Just think, I can call you up whenever I get bored. I think our relationship is really maturing here. The next thing you know is we'll be exchanging e-mails or meeting up for romantic dinners."
Naruto cursed in his language as he continued jumping across the rooftops. After jumping/gliding for a few miles, they stopped near the old G.C.P.D. building.
"Freeze must be using the lab," Naruto muttered as Batman dropped down by him. Naruto noticed something strapped to his back and raised an eyebrow. "Is that a gun?" Batman shook his head.
"No, it's a Remote Electrical Current Gun... I can stun enemies, and power up generators."
Naruto shrugged as he looked to see several men with guns guarding the building. "Joker's men... This is going to be fun." Naruto said standing up with Batman.
They went up to the gargoyles near the roof, and Naruto saw one walking on a catwalk above the ground. Naruto dropped behind him and applied a sleeper hold as Batman did the same to another guard across from him. Naruto created a clone that attacked the third man on the ground as he and Batman walked to the last two staring at the blast door.
They slammed the men's heads against it, knocking them out before Batman pulled the R.E.C. gun out, and shot a bolt of electricity at the generator at the top. The door only opened several feet having both Naruto, and Batman run over, and slide underneath it. Naruto got up and saw a dead Penguin thug lying against the door with a radio.
"Can you hear me? What's going on? Oh, for the love of..." Penguin's voice came up on the radio as they walked to it.
Naruto took the radio and broke it before pulling the SD card out. Batman put it in his cryptographic sequencer and hacked Penguin's radio frequency before walking in.
Naruto turned on his vision and saw five armed men in the lab beside the entrance. "The Joker's crew is still outside, sir." One said with a monitor on his left arm.
Naruto looked at each man and saw him all wearing it. 'Heart monitors... Penguin will know when we take someone out... We'll need to work fast.' He thought before hearing Penguin over the PA.
"Good. Make sure it stays that way."
Naruto saw Batman grapple up to a catwalk, and run to the end of the hall to a vent. Naruto jumped up, crouched, and walked through the vent. They came out above the lab and on a broken balcony. Naruto jumped on a gargoyle where two men are looking through a desk before hearing Penguin speak up again.
"Let me get this straight. Are you telling me that you all are so incompetent that you need me down there to help search a room?!"
Naruto dropped down, moved his arms around each neck, had them lean back before dropping down, and had their heads hit the floor knocking them out. Naruto saw Batman knock out each man at the door before walking to the last man, and tapped his shoulder.
"Oh shi-!" The man yelled as Naruto picked him up by his vest.
"Where's Freeze?" Naruto asked as Batman dropped behind him.
"At the Museum! Penguin's got him!" Naruto looked up as he heard Penguin speak up.
"Oh, you shouldn't have done that." Naruto knocked the man out by dropping him over his shoulder onto his head before Penguin spoke up again. "You can have him, Batman. You too, Kage. I'm safe and sound in my Museum. Try and get me if you like."
They ran to the door, and a gate came down trapping them in. "Alfred," Batman said bringing a hand to his cowl.
"Hello, sir. Have you retrieved the cure from Mister Freeze?" Alfred asked as Naruto looked to his right hand.
'Too bad I can't cure illnesses.' He thought as Batman talked with Alfred. (2.)
Batman dropped down a vent to go to the next room to unlock the doors before Kage took off his left glove.
He smiled seeing the tribal ring tattoo on his ring finger after marrying Diana. 'Along with-!' He was pulled from his thoughts as the gates went up, and the building shook as he heard Penguin's voice over his earpiece.
"There... Now all the bridges are blown up... Let's see the Clown's forces get past that."
Naruto opened the door, and they ran outside to run to the Museum. They saw a group of men guarding the gated entrance before diving down. Naruto grabbed one man and rolled over him while throwing him to the group knocking out two more men. Naruto flipped over a man as he tried to stab him with a knife.
Only for Naruto to kick him in the head to the door knocking him out. Naruto looked behind him and saw Batman dealing with the last man before he hacked the door's lock, and walked in. Naruto looked up to see two men with knives before sighing. "This is Penguin's turf, freaks! I'm going to cut you up into little pi-!"
Naruto shot two arrows that opened up and tied the men as well as wrap rope around their mouths. They walked forward and a gate popped up in front of them. Batman looked to see a green laser hitting their arms on each wall before taking a step back and having the gate go back down.
Naruto saw Batman turn his vision on, and jumped through a window in the next room. "Damn! Penguin's scrambling the signal!" Naruto put a hand to his ear. "Miss Martian; scan the prison for any signal messing with ours."
After a minute, she spoke up. "There are three jammers. One is on the roof. Another is a few blocks away, also on a roof. And the third is in a subway platform a mile away."
Nodding, Naruto created three clones, and they left. "Put a Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) kunai at the first two, and the opening that's nearest to the subway one." Naruto looked to Batman and spoke up. "OK, we just need to wait for my clones to destroy the jammers." After waiting for five minutes, Naruto shook his head.
"Got them. Try it now." Batman hacked the gate controls and jumped back through, and they walked down the hall to the opening of the stairs.
ROAR!
A mechanical T-Rex came up and roared in their faces. "Holy shit!" Naruto cursed under his breath holding his chest. "I swear this whole damn city is just one big jump scare... What's next, a giant bat?" Naruto asked before walking down the steps. And stopped seeing three thugs holding an African-American man in a grey shirt with 'POLICE' on it.
"One thug is wearing body armor. We'll need to hit him with quick strikes to knock him out."
Naruto jumped over the side of the steps followed by Batman, and they snuck up behind the two thugs holding knives before kicking their knees and then brought their arms down, knocking them down. Naruto jumped to the armored man, added chakra to his arms as he quickly hit him across the chest, brought his elbow up, breaking the helmet, and knocked the man out.
Batman walked to the Policeman and spoke. "You're safe... For now." The man sighed as Naruto looked at the display from other villains.
One of which displayed the puppet crime boss, Scarface. "Huh. I was wondering what happened to that guy since the Asylum incident," he said to himself. He continued checking the displays and stopped on one under the T-Rex.
He walked up to see a masked woman meditating. She has long brown hair in a ponytail, leather pants, and a tank top showing her cleavage, tattoos covering her torso, and a katana strapped to her back.
"Rebecca?" Naruto asked having the woman open her eyes showing they were blue. "Master Naruto! I'm so sorry that you have to see me in this state." Naruto sighed at that before speaking. "Rebecca... You don't need to call me 'Master'. Especially after-!"
"You'll always be our Master, Naruto. You trained all of us in the Mistress' personal guard." Naruto saw Batman walk down the hall before cursing. "Hey, I'll help you in a second... Using clones earlier... Took up a lot of my chakra. Plus, I've been using them from time to time to watch the prison." Rebecca nodded before going back to meditating.
Naruto caught up to Batman as he explained that there are Police held hostages in different rooms of the Museum. As they passed the main room, a shadow passed over the windows. They opened a door and saw a hall with 'New Recruits This Way' with an arrow pointing to the right. They walked to the right and saw the hall is blocked off with a caged door.
Batman brought out a Batarang with a screen on it and threw it up. Naruto saw Batman control the Batarang with his holo-computer, and hit the switch to open the door. They ran down the hall and turned left to another room with stairs on each side, and three halls closed off.
"Help me."
They looked to see another policeman walking to the edge of the top floor. Only to get shot by Penguin as a tall muscular man missing his right arm held another. Naruto pulled his bow out as Penguin aimed his umbrella at the man. "I wouldn't do that if I was you." Naruto folded his bow before Penguin chuckled. "So... You here for the Cops? The Ice-Man? Or me?" Penguin asked chuckling before Batman spoke.
"We were only here for Fries and the hostages. But now... I'm taking you down, too."
Penguin laughed before speaking. "Aren't you scary?" They glared as Naruto's eyes glowed red.
"You're about to find out." Suddenly the doors opened, and forty men ran out to surround them. "Batman, jump!" Naruto yelled, going through hand signs as Batman shot his grapple gun and flew up halfway to the ceiling.
Naruto slammed his fist down on the floor, having electricity cover the floor, and shocked the men into unconsciousness. Naruto looked up and flipped Penguin off as he lifted his umbrellas. "You shouldn't have done that." He shot a large sheeted cage down, and a very tall, and muscular man came out.
"Cobra-Venom?!" Naruto asked/yelled before the Cobra-Venom-infused man was suddenly frozen solid. Along with two of the halls and the top floor, having Penguin retreat.
"Well... Good thing I showed up."
Naruto looked up to see Killer Frost wearing a dark blue armored unitard, thigh-high boots, shoulder-length gloves, and a light blue spiral on her stomach.
She jumped down to them and smiled at Naruto. "Hello, dear." Naruto sighed as Batman talked to Alfred, and wrapped his arms around her waist. Then groped her ass. "Easy, lover." She said raising her leg against his.
"What are you doing here, Crystal?" She smiled before laying her head against his chest.
"I... Owe Freeze a favor. Once M'gann told me you needed to get him from Penguin, I figured helping him would settle it."
Naruto shrugged as he grabbed her hand, and followed Batman to an elevator he fixed to take them to the top floor after Penguin. Going through a door on the top floor, they saw an ice wall blocking them. "What the hell?" Naruto asked before destroying it.
And jumped out of the way of an ice blast. Looking up, they saw the room flooded with half the water as ice with three frozen men in the room. Naruto saw on the other end, Penguin holding Freeze's ice gun. "Stay there... You wouldn't believe the fight the Snow Man put up. Still, I got what I wanted. That's all that matters."
Penguin left as Killer Frost scoffed before freezing the water. And blinked as a very large shark jumped out of the water, and was frozen solid. "Huh... Never took him as a Jaws fan." She said as Naruto, a clone, and Batman grabbed a man and brought them back.
They explained there are two groups in each room on the sides of the Museum being held hostage before Naruto and Batman went to the one on the right. "You know..."
Killer Frost looked to the men as Naruto left. "Your rehabilitation made a believer out of a lot of cops. Just thought you should know that." She crossed her arms as she turned around so they couldn't see her embarrassed blush.
Naruto and Batman, Ice Age Exhibit.
Naruto sat on a gargoyle and hit a button on his coat to hide his heat signatures as the men wore heat goggles. Turning on his vision, he saw the cops on a bridge with an armed man as the other men walked around the room. Naruto dropped to the bottom floor and created a clone to help knock out the two men.
Applying the sleeper hold Naruto saw a '3' on his glasses before seeing Batman take out one man from a grate. Naruto jumped back to the top and hung off the bridge before silently taking the man out as Batman took care of the last one. They talked to the Police, who said that Penguin has the last two men holed up in the Iceberg Lounge with him.
"He has Freeze's gun... We should find him, and ask if there's a way we can disable it." Naruto said as they ran back out. Killer Frost ran to them as Naruto explained that they were going to get Freeze.
Going to the next room, they saw three armed men guarding the door with a gate. Killer Frost sighed before quickly freezing them, and the gate having it shatter. "What would you do without me?" She asked, only to jump as Naruto smacked her ass with a smirk.
They walked in and saw more displays before coming to a large room with a sickly-looking Fries with a body suit on, and a tube of blue chemicals to keep him alive. Naruto felt something at a weak wall before shooting several arrows at it
BOOM!
They exploded knocking out several men, along with the muscular one-armed one before they walked into the room, hack Freeze's cage, and had him tumble out only to be caught by Killer Frost. Batman walked to him and stared down. "Joker's cure. Where is it?" Fries coughed before speaking.
"Forget the Clown. I want Cobblepot. He has my suit. My weapons. I'll end him for what he's done to me." Batman just glared before speaking.
"Penguin's mine. You need to stay focused on the cure. Or a lot of innocent people will die." Fries coughed again before looking up at Naruto and Batman. "
You don't understand."
"I cannot complete my work without it. I must have it. Everything depends on it. Everything." Naruto sighed at that before speaking. "Penguin is protecting himself with your weapons... How do we get past it?" Fries frowned at that.
"You think I'll tell you how to beat me?" Batman walked to him and narrowed his eyes.
"Because if we can't get past them. We won't get your suit. And you'll die. And what happens to Nora?" Fries frown again.
"Leave my wife out of this! Don't let this situation fool any of you. We're not friends." Batman pulled the cylinder off his chest and poured some of the chemicals out. "OK! There's an override chip on my suit! I made it to disable my weapons if someone stole them!"
Batman put the cylinder back on and left with Naruto. "Are we even now, Fries?" Frost asked as Fries groaned.
"After you get my suit."
She nodded, and followed the others as they ran to the Ice Age exhibition, and saw Fries suit on display at the back. "So that's the famous Freeze suit." Naruto looked back to the cop holding a rifle.
"Yep." Naruto broke the display, making several small tears on the arm of his coat, and pulled a chip out. Batman took it and placed it on a handle with a trigger on it.
"The disruptor. I'll take Freeze's suit back to him with clones." Naruto said creating two clones and had them take Fries' suit back before walking with Frost and Batman outside the room.
