"Must you be like this..?"

Kicking the severed head of the cultist away from me, I looked over at the Vampire Princess and shrugged, knowing that I was being a bit crude right now but unable to find it within myself to care that much since I needed to blow off some steam.

The whole being abducted thing was getting to me at this point, and the fact that I had gotten lucky each time was something that further irked me, even if someone could argue that being lucky was one part of my overall skill in this life.

That just didn't sit right with me, but the amount of times I had been lamenting my uselessness only further pissed me off as I watched the head roll even further, though right now my anger was placed entirely on the scene I had caught just a moment ago.
