章 60: Does she have a husband?

Wen Shao Feng looked serious so whatever she wanted to say must have been important.

"What is it?" Lin Ye asked, matching Wen Shao Feng's sudden seriousness.

Wen Shao Feng looked at her, "The mother whose child you operated on wanted to see you. She has been asking for you since early morning."

For some reason Lin Ye did not feel tense, the child had been saved and his atrial septal defect closed, there was no need to worry but she still asked, "What was she looking me for?"

"I bet she wants to thank you for saving her daughter." Wen Shao Feng replied.

"Oh really? But I thought that was my job. Isn't that what a doctor does?" Lin Ye said with a smile as she walked down the corridor towards the Intensive care unit where the patient was recovering from surgery.

She found the mother waiting outside, along with two nurses and one of the doctors who had conducted her operation. They were all dressed in white coats, which made them look like hospital staff rather than parents.
