"Hurry!," Liana shouts as she runs into the Museum.
"Stop running Liana, you will...," before I could finish my sentence she slips and falls on the floor, "Just like I thought".
I help her up making sure she was not hurt. "Is your leg okay?," I ask.
"I'm okay Luna," she guarantees me with a smile on her face.
We stroll down the hall looking at the sculptures and artifacts that were exhibited. "Liana..," I say, "I'm going there. Wanna come?".
She shakes her head and says, "No, I'll stay here. I've spotted Ryan".
I roll my eyes and tell her, "Be careful with the boys you like Lia".
"Don't worry sis, I'll be fine," she says hugging me.
"Sure. We meet here after 30 minutes," I tell her leaving the room.
I walk through the legendary exhibit. As I stroll across the room, a beautiful stone beaded armlet that was in a glass box guarded by beams catches my attention. I go towards it and notice a manuscript that was displayed next to it. It said:
'LEGEND HAS IT, A HYBRID WOULD BE REBORN WITH THE DESTINY TO...'
Before I could finish reading I hear Liana calling out my name. I snap a picture of the armlet and run out of the room.
"Luna!," she yells.
Everybody surrounded her. I go to where she sat and asked, "What's wrong?".
She whispers in my ear, "I think I spoiled myself".
I freeze in shock and say, "You what!".
"Shhh," she says squeezing my hand.
"Please don't tell me you didn't bring extra clothes," I slap my forehead and take a seat.
"No, I have everything," she says, "I just need help in getting to the restroom," she whispers.
I remove my black hoodie and give her to tie around her waist. We walk to the restroom.
Minutes later she comes out dressed in other clothes. "Luna?," she says, "Can we please go home".
I look at her then back at my novel, "Don't you want to stay here to socialize with Ryan?," I ask her sarcastically.
"Let's go home!" she grabs my hand and drags me out of the museum.
We get in the car and drive home.
"Afternoon girls," Nana says.
"Afternoon Nana," we reply.
I take a seat on the chair. "Where's mom and dad," Liana asks.
"Went out for a business meeting," Nana replies.
"As always," I say, "I'll be in my room if you need anything," I stand up and head to my room.
I wear my string top and joggers. I turn my computer on and go on the browser. I search 'The Legend of The Werewolf and Lycan Hybrid'. Nothing much came out. I tap on a website that had caught my attention. It seemed interesting but I did not give me much information.
I begin to read:
'...'
At the end of the page, there was a girl with white blonde hair with strips of dark blue and red, a pair of different colored eyes, one crimson, the other bright blue and on her right wrist, there was the beautiful stone beaded armlet I had seen in the museum.
"Luna!," Liana calls out, "Come for dinner!".
"Okay okay Liana, you don't have to shout," I say turning my computer off.
I go downstairs to the dining table. I take a seat on the chair as Nana distributes the food. "Rice pudding, my favorite!," Liana shouts, "Thank you, Nana!".
"Liana, shhh," I tell her. "Your welcome dear," Nana says as she smiles warmly.
"Nana..," I say, "Do you know anything about werewolves?," I ask her out of curiosity.
She looks at me and says, "No dear, but you should ask your parents, they might know".
"Okay," I whisper.
We finish eating and I go back to my room. I enter my blankets and drift to sleep with the thoughts of 'The girl' I had seen on the page still in my mind. She looked a lot like me somehow.
