章 122: Date Part 1

Once I was ready for the date, Violet led me from the room. I was going to be meeting with Uncle Dominic before going to the location that Finnick had chosen. When Violet knocked on the door, there was an immediate answer from the other side.

"Come in."

This whole time, I hadn't really been thinking about how Uncle Dominic felt about the date. I knew that he did not fully approve of Finnick. Especially with the fact that he has tried to kiss me twice already. Still, he was letting this date happen. And I had a feeling that the date was all for my benefit. He wanted me to be happy. And for that, I loved him a little more. He really was just like the best uncle there was.

"Master Dominic, Sir, might I present to you, Miss Addison Everwood." Violet was being a little dramatic but she wasn't over the top at least. At her words though, I stepped past her and into Uncle Dominic's office. He also looked up from his desk at the same time and got to watch my not so grand entrance.
