With Addie's birthday having passed, and her now being officially an adult in the way that our world viewed things, I was able to be a little more open with her, not that I ever hid my feelings for her. Once I knew and understood what it was that I had felt for her, I hadn't really done much to diminish the way that love presented itself to the world. Still, she was of age now, and that opened a new avenue for us.

No, I wasn't going to be like those men that pressured their women into doing something that they weren't comfortable with, and I was sure that my Addie was the type that wanted to wait until she was married before we took any irrevocable steps in our relationship, we were still open to be going on dates and courting each other in the city. That would be more than acceptable, considering that pretty much everyone in the entire country knew that we were an item already.
