**ADDIE'S POV**

Just as Nolan made his comment, there was a horrific scream that was heard from outside. And to make matters worse, I knew the sound of that voice without even needing to think too hard about it.

"VIOLET!" I called out in fear and shock. I was already on my feet before Nolan knew what was happening.

"Addie!" He called out to me as the guards realized what was happening.

"Princess Addie!" They called after me.

I was already out of the room before their words reached my ears. I couldn't wait for them. I had to move. I have to help Violet right now. Something was happening to her, and I had to save her.

"Violet?" I called out her name again the moment that I was out of Lord Calvin's home. "Violet?"

I saw the commotion. The others were setting up the house not far from the Lord's home. That was common for us. We tried to stay close to the Lord because it was the right place to be, most of the time anyway.
