***ADDIE'S POV***
It was disconcerting. Walking through a mostly familiar palace and then expecting to find Callum and Juliana's home, only to find the house that Nolan had remodeled for us. It caused a strange feeling of wrongness to settle over me for the first day or two, until I steadily got used to things.
It wasn't the worst, being in Adaiah. The air was clearer, but I didn't know how that was possible. The weather was almost always perfect. And everything was so beautiful and picturesque. Once the shock wore off, I was happy for this new chapter in life.
After a week, the first of the residents were all settled into their homes. These residents included the family and friends I'd extended personal invites to as well as our staff and their families. There were more people than just me and Nolan, but we didn't see most of them that often.
