“Aren’t you tired of coming here every single day?”

The second Walker walked into Gray’s private hospital room, he was immediately given this question, making the former speechless for a while. Even though Gray’s question seemed a bit hostile towards Walker, one would notice from his tone that the former was not actually that ambivalent towards Walker being here. Although Gray looked emotionless, his voice sounded slightly softer than usual, unlike how he usually interacted with the person before him.

“Well, it’s kind of my fault that you’re in the hospital right now, so it only makes sense for me to come over and check on your situation every night until you’re fine to leave.” Walker replied with an awkward smile as he took a seat on one of the empty chairs located by the hospital bed.
