[ Time:- 19:21, Yoshihiro's POV ]
Walking towards the address Chihiro sensei sent me after our conversation was over, I tried not to cry. I was about to leave the comfort of my dorms, what do you expect?
Even if it is just for a month, it is still a MONTH. An entire month of cooking my own food, doing my own laundry and cleaning up after myself, it might seem like a regular thing for other people but not for me. Before coming to Chiba, I was living with my grandparents in a rural town named Itomori, where I had to look after their needs since I was a kid. They were very old and sickly, so I had to help them with everything, and by everything I really mean everything.
I left my grandparents' house after their death to come to Chiba and decided to laze around to my heart's content. Now that plan has been put on a hold till the next month.
My life sucks, no kidding.
As I was drowning in my self pity, I noticed that I was about to reach my destination, a place where I'm going to be staying for the next month. I adjusted the bag on my shoulder, took a deep breath, and sprinted towards the apartment building which was now at a visible distance.
The sun was already down, and there was no person around the road anymore. There was not even a single vehicle, nothing. If I didn't know better, I might have thought I was in a horror movie. But if that were to be the case, I'm sure I'd be the ghost, or the serial killer, it matches my personality.
I stopped after coming face to face with a door, a door which will lead me inside a place which is supposed to make me more motivated, as my arts teacher likes to put it.
I couldn't help but shudder at the thought of my red head teacher. That woman is dangerous, I already knew that, but after today's events, her danger level skyrocketed in my book. She is almost in leagues with the likes of 'Kojima the demon'.
I almost got my spine tingle after thinking about that monster!
Putting those thoughts aside, now that I think about it, Chihiro sensei got what she wanted. She might have thought I wouldn't notice, but I did. That woman is going to be getting a raise in her salary next month. She wanted me to stay here for a month in the first place just so that she could make it official.
Tch. Using underhanded tactics like that, that's why she is still single.
"!!"
My attention was suddenly grabbed from a rustling sound coming from above my head. I looked upwards to notice three people, obviously students from my school as well as my new dorm-mates, who were staring down at me with mixed expression on their faces.
First was a girl with short, light brown hair with messy bangs and big, round, light brown eyes. She was looking rather hyperactive for some reason and was holding a hammer.
Wait, why the fuck is she holding a hammer?
Second was a guy who appeared to be my age, with brown hair and eyes. He looked really scared for some reason and was restricting the girl from doing something, I don't know what though.
Before I could see the third figure, the girl noticed me looking at them and shouted with a big, happy smile on her face.
"Mr. Thief! Are you going to try to steal something or not? My hands are starting to hurt trying to hold this thing!"
Okay. I think I now understand why she is holding that hammer, which is even bigger than her head. Where did she even get that?
The guy with brown hair and eyes panicked as he heard her shout, and grabbed her before putting both of his hands over her mouth.
"What the heck are you doing Misaki Senpai? Don't just yell at him! He is going to find out that we know he is here!" He whisper-yelled at the girl before he noticed I was staring at them, "Oh crap! He knows! It's all your fault Senpai!"
"Calm down, both of you. I told you guys to just call the police, but you didn't listen to me." I finally noticed the third figure standing with the two of them. The first thought that came to my mind after looking at him was 'Die you damn, Riajuu!' He was a handsome guy with glasses, and was looking really tired from his companions' antics.
Noticing that the two of them are not listening to him, he chopped them on their heads lightly, putting a stop to their shouting spree. He turned his gaze back to me, before a hint of recognition came to his eyes and a smirk appeared on his face.
"Wait, I don't think he is a thief. I've seen him in our school before." He waved at me with that same, nasty smile on his face.
Shit. He is that guy from the washroom incident!
"Really Jin?" The girl asked the damn Riajuu, now known as Jin with curious eyes, before a hint of disappointment crossed her features, "It means I can't hit him with this hammer..." Oi oi. You shouldn't hit anyone with that thing, thief or not. They are going to die you knowww?
"Yes Misaki, I know him. Now put that hammer down please. We don't want anyone to get hurt."
"Okay!" She beamed happily before throwing the hammer away towards the ground where a living, breathing creature was standing, who if hit by that thing might, no, will definitely die. That soon to be dead creature was none other than yours truly.
'You crazy bimbo-!'
There was a thud sound just a few centimetres away from me. I fell on the ground just in time, saving myself in the process. The hammer, that cursed thing, landed just a few centimetres away from my 'little Yoshihiro'. It's safe to say that I almost got a heart attack.
I'd not shy away from accepting the fact that I shrieked like a little girl, because I think anyone would have done the same thing if they found themselves in this situation.
...
...
...
"I'm sorry! My hand slipped!" Like hell it did, I saw you throwing it!
"... Senpai...you are a demon..." The guy with brown hair and eyes said while covering his nether regions with a horrified expression on his face. At least someone understands just what kind of situation I might've found myself in if that thing landed on its marked destination.
"..A-aha, L-let's not dwell on the subject any longer... No one is hurt, so it's f-fine..." The damn Riajuu adjusted his glasses while looking away from me and shaking on his toes.
Why the heck are you looking away huh? Stop shaking if it's fine.
"What the heck is going on here? I was trying to get some sleep, damnit." The door in front of me opened as a familiar voice reached my ears. I perked up after hearing that voice. I turned my head towards the direction of that voice to notice the familiar sight of reddish brown hair.
Chihiro sensei had an annoyed expression on her face. She looked drunk at the moment, as her red cheeks indicated, and was a little wobbly on her feet. Just as she took a few steps away from the door, her eyes met mine and she noticed the position I was in.
I was cornered towards a wall with my ass on the ground. The hammer, that big ass hammer was a few centimetres away from my nether regions, and I'm sure I also held a horrified expression on my face.
Sensei just kept on staring at my form for a few seconds, before she got her bearings back and smiled nervously.
...
...
...
"Uhm, Welcome to Sakurasou?"
I hate you sensei.
Give me your power stones!
