章 156: Blinking

The fear of being abandoned again crept into Alexis's heart. She frantically began to look through her contact list to look for Kylo's number. She wanted to ask her father's number to him. 

However, to her relief, she saw the car approaching her. The driver parked the car beside her and then got out of the car and bowed to her, "Did you wait for long, Miss Alexis? I went to get some groceries."

Alexis gave a nervous smile and then shook her head, "No, I just arrived here. I came to say that my friends are coming."

"Do you want to wait for them inside the car?" The driver politely asked Alexis.

Alexis turned her head towards the gate to check if her friends were in sight or not. She didn't see them so she thought that she would wait inside the car. She nodded her head and the driver opened the door for her.
