Closing the book, Yuriko looked at Mikoto and asked her final question, "So, does your mom treat your dad the same way?"
"Well... not really. My dad doesn't have the courage for that. He doesn't even have much pocket money," Mikoto scratched her cheek and said, "But my mom told me that you should treat different people in different ways. Obviously, I can't use the same approach with Senpai as my mom would with my dad."
"By the way, you've been living here for almost half a year. Has your dad not visited yet?"
"He has visited, actually. He came back twice, but he didn't stay for more than a day. His job is quite complicated, and he travels around the world frequently," Mikoto thought for a moment and said, "He's probably still in Africa now."
No wonder.
Yuriko nodded, feeling a sense of disappointment. It was a pity that Mikoto, the person involved, didn't care. With Mikoto's indifference, there was no spectacle left for Yuriko, the spectator, to enjoy.
After tidying her hair, Mikoto stood up and went upstairs to change clothes.
As she opened the wardrobe, Mikoto muttered under her breath in a lower voice, "Hmph, just because I won't do anything doesn't mean I don't care. It's one thing to be lenient, but just wait, once I get into U.A. next year, you'll all envy me."
It must be said that although women are said to have decreased intelligence when in love, there are also times when their intelligence skyrockets.

"Ah-choo!"
Sitting inside the car, Renault suddenly sneezed for no apparent reason.
He sniffed and looked at Yaoyorozu, who was sitting next to him, with a concerned expression. Shaking his head, Renault said, "It's nothing, I'm not sick. I guess someone is gossiping about me behind my back. After all, I've managed to upset quite a few people. Yaoyorozu, we're already on our way, so could you please tell me what are we doing?"
"Sure." Yaoyorozu adjusted her posture and looked at Renault, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Actually, I could handle this matter alone, but there will be ongoing complications. So, I thought it would be best if you, Renault-kun, could help me resolve it all at once."
"Oh? What could make you, the Yaoyorozu Family heiress, so troubled?" Renault became curious.
"Even as an heiress, I'm not entirely free to do as I please, you know? Even if my parents don't force certain things upon me, the environment around me still forces me to confront them."
As Renault observed her fading smile, he pondered, and his expression gradually became strange. "Could it be that they want you to go on a blind date with someone?"
"Oh, feeling jealous?" Yaoyorozu's face lit up with a smile as she leaned closer.
They were sitting in the luxurious car belonging to the Yaoyorozu Family, and the driver had already raised the privacy partition as soon as they got in. With the specially designed soundproof partition, they didn't have to worry about their conversation being overheard.
Seeing this, Renault immediately placed a hand on her head and gently pushed her back, saying, "I'm just curious. You told me before that your family wouldn't arrange a marriage for you. So why is this happening now?"
"I never say it was a blind date though."
"..."
"Fufu, Renault-kun, your expression right now is hilarious." Yaoyorozu leaned to the side, looking at him, and explained, "There won't be any arranged marriages, of course. However, there are numerous wealthy families and conglomerates in Japan. Naturally, there are many people my age, and there are regular events like parties and social gatherings where young people from different family groups interact."
"Can't you refuse?"
"It's hosted by a conglomerate that has business ties with my family. It's an afternoon tea event, not a grand banquet or ball. If it were a grand banquet, I could have used the excuse of having school-related commitments and a limited time to return to the school to decline."
Her explanation helped him understand the situation somewhat, and Renault sighed helplessly, saying, "So, there will be suitors at this so-called afternoon tea event huh?"
"Of course, there will be," Yaoyorozu said, sitting up proudly, revealing her well-endowed figure. "With my Quirk, appearance, physique, and background, I'm at the top. It's only natural to have several suitors."
But soon, her expression deflated. "However, I don't like any of those guys. They all think highly of themselves just because they have money and power. If it weren't for the law, I would have already stuffed two bombs in their mouths!"
"Hmmm~ It's rare to see you so angry. It seems those guys are truly annoying."
"That's true. There are some who aren't annoying, but I still don't feel anything for them. However, at least we can communicate, and they don't act high and mighty. With their talents, they aren't arrogant." Yaoyorozu blinked her big eyes at him. "So, Renault-kun, I'm counting on you!"
"What exactly do you want me to do? It's not like I have to pretend to be your boyfriend, right?" Renault facepalmed. "Are you serious...? Hahh... is high society really this boring, like something out of a novel or TV drama?"
Yaoyorozu shrugged and said, "Well, it is what it is. I don't really like hanging out with those guys anyway. Being a Pro Hero makes me happier. But there's no choice. Even if I don't like it, I have to adapt."
Renault understood as well. Being born into such a family and being an only child, there were many things that couldn't be avoided just because you didn't like them.
However, Yaoyorozu was also fortunate not to be treated as a marriage tool.
"Well then, Renault-kun, I'm counting on you today."
Just as he was thinking, Yaoyorozu's voice echoed in his ears, and then Renault blinked, finding her sitting directly on his lap, her arms around his neck.
"Girl, what are you doing?" It wasn't the first time for him, so Renault remained calm, looking at her face just inches away, catching a whiff of her faint perfume.
"Since we're pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend, we naturally need to learn how to not let others see through it. So from now on, our interactions should be more intimate," Yaoyorozu said. As she spoke, her face came closer, their noses almost touching.
Renault had no choice but to tilt his head back and lean against the seat. "Ahh, I get it. In truth, you've been waiting for this, haven't you? And about that afternoon tea party or whatever, you could actually have easily declined."
"No way! I can't decline it," Yaoyorozu shook her head earnestly, but Renault couldn't bring himself to believe her.
"Haah..." Renault sighed; he knew he couldn't refuse today. Maybe she could have skipped the tea party, but the pursuers she mentioned were most likely real.
What else could he do? He had already agreed to help, so he would assist her.
He just hoped Mikoto wouldn't find out.
