Finally focusing on his general surroundings, Rune noticed that it was not just Maria who had come with Gallow but Sonia and the magic caster from her group as well. Rune had learned that her name was Yana and that the three of them made up Gallow's harem. They called themselves Grim Thunder as their brand name, and it was rare to see Sonia join Gallow as both she and Zictor usually spent their time managing separate teams within the group. Much like was shown in the tournament, they were a single group that preferred to work in split teams.

One of the main themes of this story has always been a fusion of past and future. This is a post apocalyptic depiction of a highly advanced alternate earth, so it seemed necessary to at least include some mention of the old weapons. I don't have any intention of having guns hold a prominent place in how combat done, and can promis that thes guns will still adhere to the rules established in the story so far. After all, any kind of ancient, advanced technology has always been stated to be impossible to fully replicate.
