章 60: Reunion

A war, huh? It feels strange to be appointed to a mission like this. I'm not exactly the most capable guy. Sure, I'm strong, but I have virtually no experience. When I asked Vivienne why she chose me for this assignment, all she said was that it would be a good experience for me. I find it hard to believe she would be so flippant about an important matter like this. Is it because I'm close to Luna? Because I'm close to Carin, who was requested by name? These were the things I thought about as I made my way home to meet with my girls.

I walked inside the house to see them in the middle of eating. They were all quiet, and the mood around them seemed gloomy. It was strange to see their usual banter missing from the equation, but then I came to a realization. This is my first time seeing them since I've woken up, isn't it?
