"So, how do you like my country so far, Rune?" Lana asked.

She had been guiding us through the halls of her home and making small talk with Carin until now before turning her attention to me. She had seemed highly interested in me since the start and had been frequently glancing back in my direction since we entered the building. I imagine my Oxen bloodline was influencing her in some way, but a part of me also thought it was more than that.

"It's strange, but I like it. I can see why some people might be put off, though. It's certainly a lot to take in when you see it," I responded, trying not to look at Luna.
