Visions continued on, and in almost all of them, they contained people discouraging Bryson. Telling him that there was no point in training. That there was no shame in being weak, and that he should just accept it.

From what I could tell, there was at least part of him that believed it.

However, as much as he did, that never affected his determination to continue training. Trying, as futile as it may be.

'Seeing you like this makes me feel a bit guilty that I broke your streak by taking over your body.'

A small smile formed on my face.

'Well, if anything, it is I that should thank you. Truthfully, I never would've been able to learn how to manipulate magic as you did no matter how many books I read.'

Bryson sounded as though he was on the verge of chuckling, but didn't in the end. I shrugged my shoulders and let out a small sigh.

'If by common logic something is impossible, then just don't follow the common logic.'
