章 10: LET'S BE FRIENDS AGAIN!
"It seems your best friend rejected my friend huh!",said Hotaru to Kaito.
"Turns out he did! That idiot",Kaito sounded annoyed.
"Won't it be a bit weird for them to sit together today? ",asked Hotaru.
"You think so too? Well I agree. But you know I like how both of them r running late than usual. It would be so weird if they enter together!",Kaito almost laughed out as he said this.
"Agreed. I would want to see that!",Hotaru replied with a smile.
"I didn't know you talked so much though. I should get back to my seat. Lets talk to each other often.",Kaito said as he stood up.
Hotaru nodded with a smile. As Kaito sat in his place he actually realized how cute Hotaru's smile is. He regretted not noticing it earlier. "She is pretty cute",he thought to himself.
2 minutes later Sosuke entered the classroom and sat on his place. His mind kept on shifting to yesterday's incident. Will h really not regret it? He kept on thinking that constantly. Just then Yuqi entered. She sat carefully beside him, her expression masked her embarrassment and awkwardness of the moment perfectly.
"Don't try so hard. It's fine if you are a bit uncomfortable. Let's be friends again, okay? Forget about yesterday.",said Sosuke, finally breaking the ice,
"Let's do that.",she replied with a smile.
It was hard for them to act as if nothing happened. Both of them felt a bit uncomfortable but they were soon busy helping people for the school fest today and tomorrow. After the school festival passed, both of them were comparatively comfortable with each other.
After a week, all was mostly normal. Yuqi and Sosuke acted normally and Kaito and Hotaru were comparatively closer than before. Hotter finally found another person she was comfortable with and the four of them gradually became closer as a group. But deep inside Yuqi still felt weird sometimes. Conversations between her and Sosuke still took a bit of time to develop.
But there is someone who is waiting and looking for a chance to talk with Yuqi. Who is that? How will this affect Sosuke? Will it affect him at all?
