Su Daji could sense that her brother was upset about something. However, she wasn't certain whether it was because of her or the fact that she had almost lost her life three nights ago. She wouldn't be able to fault Jiang Mo if he felt that she had been reckless during that time, but what else could she do but run? 

Jiang Mo's silence made her uncomfortable. Even after she apologized, he still remained quiet in his seat. The longer he remained like this, the more Su Daji felt unsettled because of it. He was looking at her with hesitation on his face as if he wasn't sure if he should be here at all, anyway. 

"You've met the ninth prince that night, am I right?" Jiang Mo spoke, breaking the silence between them.
