章 257: A MESS AT THE GALA

When the auction started, everyone settled down and paid attention to the event host. There were so many items being auctioned tonight and most of the things that caught Belle's attention were the pieces of jewelry. However, she could only admire them from a distance since she didn't have any money to pay for the item. 

A few minutes after the auction started, Jillyanna gently tapped Belle's arm. When the latter looked back, she instantly showed her the message that came from Charlotte. It was basically a screenshot of Eli and Charlotte's conversation. 

"Eli would buy anything you like. So, do you fancy anything from the auctioned items?" Jilyanna asked Belle while the latter read the messages. 

"I'm not really fond of expensive items. I'm more on the practical side of things. Don't worry, I'll tell Eli about it," Belle answered with a faint smile. (If they are auctioning a gun, I am sure that a certain someone inside me would do anything to get it.)
