An hour had passed since Li took Sophie to the hospital, and we were still stuck here.

"Damn it," my whole body shook as I muttered under my breath. Two things happened after I subdued the unclaimed vampires.

The two pureblood kings and their claimed vampires disappeared completely, leaving the elders to run the show.

The werewolves were another story, they all shifted to their human forms together — except for their Alpha — and worked as if they were multiple organs that belonged to one body, they were freakishly organized, dividing themselves into groups and escorting unclaimed ones out of here. I had no idea where the hell they were taking them to and I couldn't care less as long as it was away from me.

I needed to reach Sophie and make sure she was okay, but there was one obstacle in my face that didn't allow me to join her there.

The obstacle was literally in my face. I couldn't get rid of the crimson eyes.
