Your neck, she said.

"Where and when," I asked.

"My bedroom, now," she sounded confident. And the look on her face told me that she had done this before.

I was right, this was Elizabeth's hell, and I was moving in with her.

"Lead the way," I said.

She looked as if she was about to say something but changed her mind about it after a second thought. She ran up to her room, leaving me behind.

She was fast. She wanted this. She couldn't wait for it.

How was I supposed to deal with all of this? I wasn't a saint. I was a monster.

I looked around me, there was no one but my ex-General, sleeping on the ground. I switched his brain on and gave him a couple of minutes to stand up and wrap his head around what had happened to him. Her arrow was still in his right shoulder.

A couple of minutes later, he looked angry.

"Take care of your wound," I ordered.

He knelt and exposed his neck.

"I'm unworthy of your service... I have failed you, and it was you who saved my life in the end,"
