章 67: Another Change

The first sun rays were just coloring the morning sky when I stopped at her front door. She didn't move a muscle. The wind was blowing fiercely from behind us, it was very useful when we were both sweating before — images of the hours we spent enjoying each other all night were fresh inside my head.

But her clothes were wet now, and I couldn't share any more of my heat with her.

"…Go on in," I finally managed to say, keeping my eyes straight, not wanting to see her in the same damn cheerleading outfit once more.

I wanted to burn them. Except for her boots…

"I don't want to," she said firmly as she nestled some more into my chest. I was about to chuckle when we both winced at the sound of his voice from behind the door.

"SOPHIA HUNT..., GET INSIDE THIS HOUSE RIGHT THIS INSTANT OR SO HELP ME…!" Sophie's dad choked on his words and started coughing his lungs out.
