章 306: Trying is useless

Dante sensed that terrible, otherworldly mana a split second before Ginevra screamed in agony.

He saw the woman, who a second before looked like an ordinary housewife having a very bad day, transform into a creature that could only be described as demonic.

Her body didn't change. But her mana did. A horrible blue energy filled her, too potent to fit inside. It poured out of her orifices, and even out of the wound on her forehead.

It was the most fascinating thing Dante had ever seen since meeting the Void. The Starspawns Cael told him all about looked even more interesting in person than they did from his words.

Now Dante just had to save Ginevra from her before all his excellent work by giving her replacement body parts was ruined!

"Get away from her!" he shouted, pointing his hand at her. A set of stone arrows was already growing there. In another moment, it would be ready to fly.
