章 2: Meet the babysitters
Hey, yes this is another rewrite updated.
(Meeting the Babysitters)
Terry looked at all the boys and said "So um, my brother's should be home in a few minutes, so I've got to start fixing dinner, I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." said Tara as she puts her book bag into the closet then heads into the kitchen and starts cooking.
Tara grabbed the flour, eggs, milk and seasonal, she grabbed the chicken breast and started cutting each breast into tiny bite-sized pieces when Ashton walked in.
(Ashton's P. O. V.)
I walked into the kitchen where Tara was and looked at her, she looked back at me but with a weird face.
I decided to talk instead of staring at her, "You know I could help you cook right?"
Tara looked at me with a weird face as she said: "I like to cook alone."
I was shocked because any other girl would love to have me help them cook, but not Tara, Tara was not like any other girl, she was, different.
"But I wanna help," I said whining hoping she would give in because I actually did want to help cook.
"No," said Tara as she started cutting up the rest of the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
I was still shocked but I took the hint of the plane out 'no' "Fine" I said as I turned around and walked out of the kitchen to sit down on the couch.
(Tara)
I just got done fixing chicken bites, mashed potatoes, gravy and corn, I got the plates down and the silver wears out then called everyone in to eat while I washed the dishes.
Everyone ate, Ashton came in with some more dishes, since we didn't have a dishwasher as other people did, I had to wash every dish by hand which isn't bad, it just gets on my nerves night after night of having to wash them.
Ashton asked a few times if he could help but I kept telling him 'No', he's a nice boy but when I clean, I like to clean alone unless I have my friends help me then it's tag team partners and no one can stop us.
