章 79: Chapter 79 Information

While we were healing Lucy, she was able to give us a rundown of the situation. Just like in the cannon, Grey had come to bring them back but was taken down by Natsu with a surprise attack. They were not able to get a boat to reach the island because all the sailors were afraid of the island.

Then they were brought by a guy who seems to disappear suddenly when they reached the island and later they found out that the disappeared guy was the son of the village chief who had died. Later they decided to investigate the island and was chased by a giant rat wearing a maid's uniform. After defeating it, they came across the hidden cave under the temple filled with demons trapped in iced shell.

This answer shocked us a bit including me. I knew that there were multiple monsters by what the system mission had told, but the fact that they were trapped in iced shell was surprising. Ur too seemed a bit started at the revelation.

From there they were able to hear a few people talk about a ritual to melt the ice using the moon. So, they waited till nighttime and saw the people doing a ritual and Lucy's spirit told them that it was the moon drip ritual which can melt any ice.

And then Gray was able to identify the leader of the group as Leon. Just as Lucy said this, Ur held her shoulder

"Are you sure he said Leon" Ur asked wide eyed

"yes, but why do you know him?" Lucy asked a bit confused.

Ur was biting her lips at this. So, I intervened and told Lucy to continue.

Then Lucy said that Leon's group were planning to attack the villagers and eradicate them completely so Lucy and Happy separated from the group and came to the village. Later on, Natsu and a very wounded Gray had reached the village and then later a small group of wizards had attacked the village. From there, Lucy and Happy got separated by one of the wizard and her familiar who Lucy was able to beat but by the end of it she was out of magic and had to run away from the people who were hunting her right now and we came here.

Seeing that Lucy's information was not enough, I looked towards the wizards who were paralysed and released a bit of the arrow magic paralysing them. Throughout the years, I was also able to improve my control over the arrows I had and now can control the paralysing effect of Nagastra completely and release only as much as I wanted.

From there the people refused to answer our questions.

"even if we die, you won't get any answer from us"

They all shouted something similar. But that was a mistake. That's not something you should shout to Titania who was pissed at Natsu and others breaking the guild rules and Ur who was pissed of at what she speculated her disciple was doing.

Let's just say what happened should not be mentioned outside and they were able to extract enough information from them and it was a mess.

It seems like Leon was way over his head more than in the cannon this time. He had decided that he will surpass Ur by releasing and killing Deliora, and at the same time prove that he is the strongest by collecting all kinds of demons trapped in iced shell created by ice molder wizards decades or even century ago by sacrificing their life.

Shit hit the fan really high right now. The system does not give too much information unless I know it or no one else in the world knows it. That's why the secret of the island people looking like demons was not revealed to me as Raubol, the last spirit of Nirvana still exists, and he knows about it. And the demons frozen in the ice may not have been famous but still there are records of them and the small army of people Leon has also might have information about it. So other than investigation there are no other ways. And the people we caught currently does not have any sort of info that could help us.

I can see Lucy shaking like a leaf imagining the punishment she will get later. I took a health potion from inventory and fed it to both her and happy to heal their wounds.

Later we went inside to where the people had camped since the entire village had been destroyed by the wizards Leon had send. Ur was getting pissed off listening to everything that happened, so we moved a little away from her as she was spreading a bit of ice around her.

In the village we found Gray wounded heavily. I used a potion I had recovering most of his injuries and he woke up shouting he needs to fight Leon without looking who healed him and who he was surrounded with.

Let's just say Erza and Ur made sure to teach him some manners.

After a few minutes

"Gray are you sure it was Leon?"

"yes Ur sensei, when I heard his voice his voice I knew and later when he removed the mask and faced me I saw that my guess was right.

"why did you lose" I asked since I knew unlike cannon, Grey has no guilt in this timeline so the chances of him losing are less.

Gray just looked away. Seems like the idiot held back since he was facing his old friend.

Bam

That was Ur's fist falling on Gray's head almost knocking him out

"you absolute idiot, don't forget you are part of a guild that beats the crap out of others first and then shows consideration later, or did you hit your head and forgot how we do things"

saying our guild is like that sounds wrong Ur. Though I can't deny and even Erza is nodding along with it. Alright anyway it seems like they linked all the iced shells together and today it will thaw out every ice. Looks like our battle is upon us.
