 When Ashley woke up, it was nighttime. She then realized she was back at the villa she shared with Nathan. She sat up, staring at the familiar expansive bedroom, an emotionless veil all over her face.

 The door swung open, and Leticia walked in with a tender smile. "How are you feeling, Ash? You fell asleep again, so I brought you home." The young woman stared at her mother in complete silence for a few seconds before she opened her mouth to speak.

 "I'm fine, mom." Leticia stroked her cheek lovingly. "I have a meeting to attend so I'll be leaving. If you need anything, just call for Nathan."

 It was then, that Ashley saw the man standing in the doorway. He moved his gaze from her to the windowsill once he realized that she had noticed him.
