Marissa stayed in the attached bathroom for a few more minutes. She didn't know how to face the man who was her husband, yet he was also a stranger to her.

She washed her face, applied moisturizer, and then practiced some deep breathing exercises before going out.

Rafael was the one who taught her those breathing techniques for any unwelcoming situation.

With a deep sigh, she twisted the handle and came out of the bathroom. The man whose face resembled Rafael's but was a lot more muscular than him, was sprawled on the bed looking at the ceiling. Oddly enough, there was a big grin on his face. 

He must have felt her watching him as he raised his head to find her standing there.

"Hey!" he got up with a smile and patted the space beside him, "Come."
