Lenora took the ink brush and dipped it in the ink. She carefully walked towards him without making any noise and brushed his cheek with that ink brush. 

Maximus who was in his dazed state felt something brush his cheeks. The smell of ink wafted his nose making him jerk his head to the side. He saw his wife standing beside him with a big childish smile holding an ink brush which she used to paint his cheek. 

His eyes widened in shock at her actions. 

"What did you do, Wifey?" he asked surprised. 

"Grabbing my husband's attention," she said innocently as she batted her eyelashes at him. 

"..."  he was speechless at her words. 

Was this the way to grab attention like this? 

"I am hungry, but you are not paying attention to me," she said as she made a face that said I am gonna cry now. 

"..."  what?! 

Was she his wife? 

Why was she behaving so differently?
