Gao Peng gently stroked the Desolate Frost Lion's wound as it lay before him, sound asleep. The Desolate Frost Lion could have stopped the Black Flood Dragon from escaping with its final gambit. However, it would have been put into a deep sleep if it had done so. All the training it had undergone that year would have gone down the drain.
