She heard what Aragon asked Javrone, and Merlena was startled to hear him. Why was he asking him that question? It was believed that Hick was killed in a monster attack, and why would Aragon think that it had anything to do with Javorne?
Javorne slightly widened his eyes and said, "Wh-why are you asking me that?"
Aragon observed him and said, "Even if you don't now, we have time until the king's capital. And remember, only truth."
Javorne was sweating, and he stared at Aragon in disbelief. He couldn't believe a little kid was being anxious and showing him fear.
Aragon went back to the fire and sat.
Merlena, who had been silently observing the exchange, approached Javorne and whispered, "Do you have anything to do with it?"
Javorne was actually shaken by Aragon's words. Why did he ask him that question? It was bothering him too much, as he started thinking about Aragon and where he came from.
