"What are you going to do?"
"I will watch how things go for the time being." The cold emotionless female voice answered him. That was the longest sentence she had spoken in a long time that even she felt weird. "Are you sure about what you said?" She asked in her soft voice that sounded lifeless.
"Humphh..i don't care about that freaking position. I am not some soft hearted little boy like that Ray..Tch.." The male voice answered her back. "I will rather get stuck with a stinking female like you than those savage wolves."
"Heh..stinking female huh?"

As soon as their feet touched the ground of the beast man territory Damian felt the weak presence of Mina: His Chosen one. "Why is it so weak damn it." He cursed under his breathe. He himself did not know what was the feeling of foreboding that was welling up inside him.
"Master, are you okay?" Beth asked worried sensing the fluctuation in the mood of his master. As his servant Beth had a deep connection with the emotional condition of Damian.
"Nah, it's nothing." He kept his answer short. "You do not have to worry about that."
"Master but…" Beth wanted to be at least of some help to his master.
"No buts Beth. Forget about me, I am more worried about that girl." He pointed his head towards Daphne who was trembling all over.
Daphne was excited about returning to her home and back to her sister. She was also excited about meeting with her Fiancé. It had been too long since she had been kidnapped. But looking at the scene before her she could not believe her eyes.
"Wha-at is this all?? W-WHAT Happe-end here?" Daphne covered her face in horror looking at the bloody battlefield and the mountain of corpses of her fellow beast men.
"Th-this place, it was where we used to sneak out for dates…This place was so beautiful…B-But w-what happened here?" Daphne was shocked to her bone, shivers and chill ran down her spine looking at the disseminated bodies of the beast man.
"What war would do this?" Daphne looked at Damian and Beth who could only give her sympathetic look. As the master of another dimension, Damien had no right to interfere in the private and personal matter of other dimension. Doing so would result in penalty. It was an iron rule no one was allowed to break.
"Please tell me, what happened here?" Daphne choked on her tears. Her heart felt as if a boulder had been placed on it making it hard for her to breathe.
"Did a war start when I as gone?" Daphne looked at them pleading with her eyes. She wanted answers. She needed answers for somewhere in her heart there was a deep doubt, a suspicion but she could not make out what that was.
Suffocating.
It was suffocating for her. Why were there only fox beast man and wolf beast man and no other beast man from their locality.
"Why are there only foxes and wolves?" Daphne who had expected a warm reunion with her tribe and lover after being kidnapped and away from her home for so long.
She glanced at the severed head, limbs and broken weapons. The once lush and beautiful ground was now colored in brown dried blood. The only living creatures were the vultures that gnawed at the remaining flesh of the poor souls.
"How in the hell did this happen." Daphne fell on the ground kneeling, her voice shaking, eyes filled to the brim with tears.
"Just how??" She broke out into a heart breaking sob which soon turned into whimpers .
"If you need answers, you should look for it." Beth looked at her with a pitiful gaze after all he had taken care of her for more than a week and she had grown up on him. He lightly tapped her shoulder. That was the least he could do for her.
"We need to hurry." Damien spoke in his cold voice. He was not a cold hearted man but he did not have time to sympathize and comfort this girl. Even if he gave her answers she would end up being more miserable. That aside he had more important matters to handle and take care of.
"Master .." Beth looked at him and at Daphne on the ground with complicated emotion.
"Beth bring her later..Once she has calmed down a little." Damian sensed his worries and decides to go first. He was more than enough to deal with any obstacles alone.
"Okay master" Beth bowed down without questioning his decision.

At the wolf tribe camp…
"You sure?? Do you sense you sister??" Max asked her again to make sure he heard her correct before.
"Yes..It is her..I can sense her even from miles away." Rubia nodded her head composing herself so as not to let her tears fall down. She did not have time for whimpering and crying.
"Before that, we need to deal with this new stronger presence. The level is almost god like." Rubia could sense the power and aura of anyone. She closed her eyes focusing on the higher energy levels while slowly separating them from the energy forms of other creatures around her.
"Gosh…" Rubia gasped opening her eyes abruptly. "Th-this!!!" How could she have ignored and miss this presence all along.
"What?? Is it the Lord himself?" Max thought the only one enough to give her a shock of that magnitude would be the beast king aka the lord of the dimension.
"No, its not him….This energy.." Rubia looked at the highest cliff surrounding the wolf tribes territory. "There.." She pointed with her head. "There is the energy that belongs to the girl."
"Which girl are you talking about?" Max had no idea which girl she must be talking about. Considering how she once was only having relations with females he had a doubt. 'Is it her old flame?' He wondered But waved off that thought. 'Why would she care about her old flame at a serious time like this?' He felt silly in his heart for even having this thought.
"Remember the girl who died…more correctly whose presence disappeared?" Rubia asked him but her gaze was still fixed on the top of the hill.
[Host, A detection technique has been noticed? Do you want to camouflage?] The mechanical robotic voice sounded inside her head.
"No, let it be..It had to happen sooner or later." She replied in her emotionless voice.
[Okay Host.]
"Hehe..finally we are coming out of shadows huh??" The deep voice growled from within her gnashing its teeth as it stepped out from the shadow, one paw at a time.
"I NEVER SAID YOU WERE TO STEP OUT OF SHADOW, DID I?"
"Then, what did you mean by that?"
"I meant we were coming out of shadows dumb…heh." She smirked as the wolf slowly turned back and disappeared in the shadows.
"The girl….??" Max looked at her confused. "Wait, you mean the one whose presence disappeared???" Max came to a sudden realization. He shook his head to keep himself calm.
"You don't mean her, do you?" Max stuttered no matter how much he tried to maintain his cool. He wanted to hear a positive answer from Rubia.
"Yes, Its her, Its Mina. But.." Rubia squinted her eyes as if making sure of something.
"What but??" Max hated the word but more than anything.
"There is something wrong with her spirit energy. It feels like her while at the same time it doesn't feels like her."
"Ehhh?? What do you mean by that??" Max looked at her confused.
"I do not know myself." Rubia shook her head. "Its hard to point out exactly what's wrong with this." Rubia decided to go and take a look for herself.
"Wait, don't go now." Max caught her hand and pulled her to his side.
"Hey…Wh-at are you doing?" Rubia became flustered with the sudden intimacy.
"Shhh…" Max whispered near her ears. "You need a plan first. Don't act recklessly and you do not want them panicking, do you??" Max looked at her nodding towards the crowd of beast man who were looking at them.
"Umm..right." Rubia calmed down. "If that is her then its fine but if she becomes a threat to the beast tribes I will eliminate her at any cost." Rubia gave a firm answer before heading back to the camp. The final selection of the tribe chief was still left. 'I need to wrap up things here quickly.'
"Is she not coming?" Mina looked at the bustling camp from the hill. The moon was rising up slowly from the east.
"Might as well head back for now." Mina stretched her body and four limbs as she got up from her sitting position. Observing the matches all day had tired her out. 'Might as well go and take a stroll around the jungle.'
A grey wolf with a white fur around its neck stood up from the cliff.
Giving a loud howl it ran inside the jungle.
'That howl…' Max looked at the direction it came from.
"I think you are better suited to be wolf than that boy Ray." The wolf inside her spoke in its growling voice.
"Shut up." Mina did not want to hear anything about Ray. For now she wanted to experiences the capabilities and the limits of her newfound body. She sprinted inside the jungle running over bushes and streams feeling the night wind rush at her. It was the only time she felt alive.
[Host Stop.] The system warned its host in its robotic voice.
With a great effort she slowed down her speed right before she collided head on with a figure in the dark.
"WHO ARE YOU?" Mina growled at the intruder ready to attack.
"So we finally meet officially, My Chosen One." Damian stared at the cautious wolf in front of him.
Yipeee....They finally meet but is it a happy news?? Do let me know what you think....This poor author is begging you...sob sob
