"Clang...!"
A large amount of blood splattered from the Demon God Pillar, staining the entire ground red.
"---! ---!"
Unbearable cries of agony erupted from various parts of the Demon God Pillar's body, causing all of its eyeballs to become bloodshot.
"You...inferior beings...!"
Lev's voice, filled with pain and rage, resonated from within the Demon God Pillar, causing magical energy to surge forth from it once again, akin to a volcanic eruption.
"Boom, boom...!"
Dark smoke billowed forth, swirling around the Demon God Pillar's body and violently crushing everything around it.
"Take cover!"
Rozen, covered in wounds, gasped slightly and urgently issued commands while catching his breath.
Mash and Jeanne quickly pulled out the weapons embedded in the Demon God Pillar's body, using the shields of "Magic Defense" beneath their feet to leap into the air.
Though they avoided the rolling smoke, the terrible shockwaves still buffeted Mash and Jeanne, much like Rozen had been earlier, sending them flying by the residual force.
If Rozen hadn't deployed the "Magic Defense" shield along their trajectory, Mash and Jeanne would have been sent crashing into the wall.
"Huff... huff..."
"Ha... ha..."
Both girls knelt on the airborne "Magic Defense" shield that had formed beneath their feet, starting to catch their breath.
Clearly, the recent assault had consumed a considerable amount of Mash and Jeanne's strength and magical energy.
Although the strike empowered by the girls' "Magic Resilience" had damaged the Demon God Pillar, it continued to roar and churn the dark smoke.
It resembled an injured beast, weakened yet simultaneously more ferocious, its magical energy growing even more astonishing.
"Is this still not enough to defeat it...!?"
Cold sweat streamed down Mash's cheek.
"This is the mastermind behind the incineration of human order..."
Jeanne stared at the rampaging Demon God Pillar, her grip on the holy flag tightening.
Rozen, perched on a eagle's back, began to pant and forced a bitter smile.
"Compared to that kind of monster, King Arthur and Jeanne Alter seem mild."
Feeling his magical energy depleting, Rozen couldn't help but feel powerless.
"There's less than twenty percent of magical energy left..."
How were they supposed to defeat such a monster in this situation?
Rozen racked his brain for a solution.
Just then...
"Hello? Can you hear me?"
As that voice suddenly rang out, Rozen, Mash, and Jeanne were all left utterly stunned.
It was a mature and composed voice, intelligent yet mischievous, belonging to a very pleasant-sounding woman.
The voice emanated from Rozen's wrist.
To be more precise, it came from the communicator worn on Rozen's wrist.
In other words...
"A communication from Chaldea?"
Mash was somewhat surprised.
If it was a Chaldea transmission, it should have been Roman's voice, so why did it sound like a woman?
Olga Marie's voice is different too.
Just as Mash was thinking this, as if reading her thoughts, the other person chuckled.
"Because Lev has turned into a Demon God Pillar, Roman and Olga Marie are in turmoil, the Chaldea staff is in disarray, it's quite distressing to watch. So, big sis here put in a bit of effort. I analyzed the life reactions of the Demon God Pillar in battle up to now, came to a conclusion, and now I'm just lending you a hand."
The figure who referred to herself as "big sis" didn't give them time to react, speaking directly.
"In terms of conclusions, the Demon God Pillar is neither a Servant nor a Phantasmal species. Naturally, it cannot be human either. However, its entire body is formed from magical energy. In Chaldea's terms, it has constructed a massive spiritual foundation using the power of the Holy Grail to materialize."
That's what the person said.
"To defeat a monster like this, the method isn't much different from defeating a Servant. To defeat a Servant, you either need to pierce their weak point, the Spirit core, or inflict irreparable damage to their spiritual foundation."
The Demon God Pillar may not be a Servant and might not have a weak point known as the Spirit core. Nevertheless, if it were dealt a tremendously powerful blow to its spiritual foundation, it could still be killed.
The problem lies in...
"Judging from Rozen's current condition, if at the peak of his magical energy, he used a spell that adds a sharp attribute to weapons and armor to allow Mash and Jeanne to deliver a lethal blow, it might have worked against the Demon God Pillar."
The voice from Chaldea explained.
"However, at the moment, Rozen's magical energy response is much weaker than at its peak. His magical energy is nearly depleted, so that method is no longer feasible."
Hearing these words, Rozen couldn't refute them.
If it were truly at the peak of his magical energy, Rozen could have used up his magical energy, empowered Mash and Jeanne's weapons and armor with immense psychic blades, and given the two girls powerful enough attacks to cleave the Demon God Pillar in two.
However, now, even if Rozen used all his magical energy to enhance the "Magic Resilience" ability, the psychic blades' length would only reach about a meter.
This was insufficient to bring down the massive Demon God Pillar.
Mash, however, quickly inquired.
"So, there's no other method?"
This question received a very affirmative response.
"Of course, there is."
The other person spoke with such certainty.
"If you have an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm capable of causing damage to the entire spiritual foundation, burning the entire body of the Demon God Pillar to ashes would kill it."
This condition was even more stringent than the first.
An Anti-Army Noble Phantasm capable of incinerating the entire spiritual foundation of the Demon God Pillar?
It would need to be at least an A-ranked Anti-Army Noble Phantasm, right?
Regrettably, none of Rozen's Servants possessed such an ability.
Even Marie, whose Noble Phantasm was an A+ ranked Anti-Army Noble Phantasm, dealt damage through magic, lacking the firepower needed to obliterate everything.
So, what were they supposed to do?
Rozen began to contemplate.
And then...
"...Seriously, so all we have to do is this to bring down that disgusting meat pillar?"
A voice, weakened yet filled with sarcasm, echoed.
"That makes thing simple."
Supporting herself with a pitch-black sinister flag, the girl struggled to her feet, her body rising from the ground. With a hoarse voice, she stared fixedly at the Demon God Pillar.
"That annoying human Master over there."
Naturally, these words were directed at Rozen.
"Give me your magical energy."
The "Dragon Witch" who had lost the Holy Grail, as if expending all her life force, grinned ferociously.
"Let me burn that ugly pillar to ashes."
"Use my hatred against it."
The "Dragon Witch" who had been labeled a counterfeit, at this moment, displayed her resolve.
