章 38: You can't always have your way

The moment Karina stepped out of the car, she forgot how nervous she was earlier as her eyes scanned her surroundings. The gigantic building was like nothing she had seen before. She had to admit it was extremely beautiful.

In the middle of the vast front yard, there was a large water fountain in the shape of a red wolf, the sight of which was both terrifying and thrilling.

"My boss will take it from here, Miss." The driver's voice echoed in her ears, forcing her to return her attention to him. She saw him bow slightly at her, then gave another bow, however, this time he was facing another direction.

When Karina turned in the direction he was facing, she saw Skye approaching them. He was smiling, and that forced her to smile as well.

"My lady," He curtsied when he reached her. "You are beautiful." He complimented after lifting his head.
