章 193: I miss you

Elvis flew seamlessly all the way to dragon valley and landed smoothly in front of his cave. He was ecstatic. Being able to flex his wings again was a great blessing, but what he was most happy about was the fact that he got his partner back. 

Some twenty years back, he had felt her presence and was about to rouse from his sleep to go find her. But before he could do that, everything that indicated that she was back suddenly disappeared, forcing him back to sleep. 

But last night, he felt it again, stronger than ever, and the sleep left his eyes. It had taken him some time to break through the spell Salma placed on the cave, and the moment he did, he flew all the way to Silver Lake, to retrieve her. 

But Karina was feeling something different from what he was feeling. Although she was happy to be reunited with Elvis, her body, mind, and soul had been thrown into a state of complete befuddlement.
