"AHH!" Massoud screamed in agony as he went down like his strings were cut. From that point on, Lin opted for brutal efficiency. As Massoud stood up on one leg and swung his chakras desperately, Lin caught his hands and kicked him in the head. He crashed to the ground, and there was a bone-snapping crunch as his elbow twisted too far in the wrong direction.
After biting back a scream and grunting in pain for a few seconds, Massoud got up from the ground once again and dropped down into his combat stance. However, his elbow was bent at a hideous angle, and instead of the calm and collected expression he had before, Lin could catch a tinge of fear in his eyes.
Lin glanced at Massoud nonchalantly and smiled. "You're finally getting it, aren't you? Good! Because it's about to get a whole lot worse!"
As he spoke, Lin ran straight into Massoud and the impact sent him sprawling. His right shoulder was shattered and pumping blood.
