"Change is the constant in life," Shui Xian told her. "We should always be prepared for it." He took a deep breath and added, "Now, just look at me. I wouldn't have thought I'd be staying in a hospital just two days ago. But things changed. It doesn't always go according to our plan."

And neither did he think when he came out of Raelle's ward that he'd be running into Tang Hebe. If he knew, he'd have rather just stayed inside to avoid the trouble of seeing her.
