章 1: Reincarnation
In a room full of toys and different games, a boy who looked to be around 1-3 years old could be seen lying lifelessly on the bed. Suddenly, he shot up in shock and began hyperventilating.
"Ahhh, it was a dream," he said, holding his chest. Slowly, he calmed down, a smile forming on his face.
"Oh, sweet life, I love you s... Oh, fuck," he suddenly exclaimed when he noticed his surroundings and small limbs.
"Where am I?" he asked, looking around with surprise and horror written all over his face.
Yes, he is a reincarnate. The boy, or at least the soul occupying his body, was named Daniel Richards. He was an average African American whose life had been unremarkable in every way. In school, barely anyone knew his name except for a few friends. It was the same in college and later at work. Just when his life was finally turning around, he collapsed from overwork.
"God, why? Why now? Couldn't you wait until I was at least 45 or something?" Daniel lamented, kneeling on the floor with tears in his eyes.
"Wait... why am I even complaining? I was given a second chance at life. I'll just have to make it to the top and maybe this time correct some of my mistakes," he said. Suddenly, the tears disappeared as though they never existed, and he smiled before going back to bed and relaxing.

In a white space in an unknown place, a huge white being with several galaxies swirling inside him could be seen looking at a screen.
"At least my mistake has been resolved," the being said, wiping away non-existent sweat from his forehead as he observed Daniel's actions.
"Hmm... interesting. I never thought a mortal could handle such knowledge with ease," the being remarked with interest in his eyes as though he were looking at a new toy.
"Not only was he able to accept his situation with ease, but he also adapted at a pace normally impossible for mortals," he said, then closed the portal, leaving his past mistake behind as though it never happened.

After Daniel climbed back onto the bed, he lay down and relaxed. He started going through the memories that came with the body he now possessed. From them, he learned that his new name in this world was Richard Griffon, and he came from a family of only two: him and his mother, Anna Griffon. The Griffons were a wealthy family, with his new mother being the CEO of a large company, AXL Industries, which dealt with technology, healthcare, and other areas his former self knew little about. "Stark Industries, oh lord!" Daniel, now known as Richard, shouted in horror.
"God, why? Amongst all worlds, why did it have to be this universe?" Richard thought with tears in his eyes.
"Wait, why am I even crying? I have a clear advantage over others," Richard thought, then smiled and relaxed into his bed.
"Ahh, OPness, here I come," Richard thought happily as he went to bed, considering all the ways he could become strong enough to live in his new universe.
==={2 years later}===
Inside a room, Richard could be seen sleeping soundly on his bed when the door suddenly opened, and a woman walked in with a cake in her hands.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..." the woman sang for Richard, who then woke up.
"Mom, you didn't have to," Richard said with a happy smile on his face. Yes, he had accepted his new mother as his own.
"Oh, come on. You're turning 5 today. I have to at least be here for you. Oh, taste the cake; I made it myself," the woman, now recognized as Anna Griffon, said as she dipped a finger into the cake and licked it.
"Hmm, it's nice," Richard replied, doing the same. Then his mother, Anna, rubbed a bit of icing on his face.
"Mom!" Richard shouted.
"Okay, darling, time to cut your cake," she said with a smile, placing the cake on the coffee table beside them. Richard cut it, resulting in a round of applause from his mother.
"Thank you, Ma," Richard said, then hugged her. As soon as he touched her, he felt a change within himself but ignored it for now.
"You're welcome, dear. Anyway, Mom's late for work, so see you later, okay?" she said, raising his face to match hers.
"Okay, bye," Richard said as she kissed his forehead and left. Instantly, Richard felt a sharp pain in his head, which stopped a second later.
