章 200: Demand A Test

To their surprise, Emmeline was long gone. According to the staff, it seemed that Emmeline had decided to visit her grandfather in the hospital along with her mother.

"Excellent. Since she's already there, we can settle it today!" Ronan said, shooting Matteo an encouraging glance. "Who knows, maybe we'll be back here before the clock strikes midnight to finish your wedding!"

Cherry was also eager to get it over with, but Matteo only felt a great tiredness, along with a feeling of unease he could not shake. 

Somehow, he had a feeling this wasn't even the end of it. 

All of them arrived at the hospital through the private entrance and found Amelia and Annalise waiting in the private waiting room, sitting at two different ends of the room. Matteo went straight to Amelia's side, ignoring Annalise's presence. Emmeline was conspicuously absent. 

"How are things?" Matteo asked worriedly.
