Her anxiety kicked up as she waited with battered breath for Zeus reaction. She imagined, it wouldn't be anything less than him flinging the bowl away, followed by her being yanked by the throat very murderously. Or perhaps even emptying the content all over her face. 

In that case she is grateful for it cooling off. At the very least, she wouldn't be screaming out of the scalding stew, but just the burning of hotness of the spice.
