I laid on the bed staring at the ceiling mulling over Jiji's words. The room was still dark and the only light coming in was from the window. I woke up in the early hours of the morning. I've been laying here for God knows how long. Her words were stuck in my brain, denying me any peace.

I still could not for the life of me understand what was going on in their brains. How can they trust someone this fast, to the extent of giving the pitiful me away in exchange for a few clearly deceitful words disguised under marriage? I strongly believe someone had cast a spell and brainwashed them.

What if the person is a criminal or a bad person? Who would propose marriage in three days for God's sake?
