章 219: THE ACCUSATION

"What?" Magdalene was dumbfounded at the sudden confession of the man who had just claimed to be her lover. She threw a glance at Lucas who didn't seem to care about whatever scene was playing out. Many people on the table were also dumbfounded at what had just been spoken.

"Do you know that those words of yours can call for a treason?" Morgan said to him.

"I swear by my life milady. This lady here is my lover" He confessed.

Faint murmurings began over the man blunt accusation of the proposed bride of the Lord.

"Do you know him Magdalene?" Morgan asked with an intense stare.

"I've never met this man my whole life" Magdalene replied with evident anger.

"Now you're going to be the bride of the Lord you're denying ever knowing me magdalene. You are my lover! Why are you doing this to me Magdalene. I won't and can't let you go. You are my lover!" He began to cry.
