"Whatever it is, don't stay sad for too long it makes you look ugly" The lady said and Magdalene smiled.

The musicians began playing their instruments and everyone went to find their partners for the dance. Magdalene was alone at a corner watching Lord Lucas dance with a blonde beauty. She whispered something to his ears to have him raise a brow amusingly at her. Although he didn't smile or laugh, he's expression was soft. She knew that Lord Lucas was always stern he didn't show this side to anyone but her. it made her a little upset to see that lady throwing herself at him.
