章 142: Heartbroken

Prudence shut her eyes before she turned around. Daniel was jogging as he corrected his hair. A wide grin flashed his teeth. If his imagination was true then his goddess had tear-filled eyes while she had finally found time to meet him. She was well dressed to impress him and she had a sad smile for their affair was forbidden. 

Bringing himself to halt, Daniel stood right in front of Prudence. He kept staring at her with longing.

All he saw in Prudence was her giving the same longing and love back to him. But all that Prudence did was cringed while taking a step back. 'Goddess is so shy!' Daniel flipped inside his heart, 'she took a step back.' He felt like he had to clear her hearts doubts. "Do not worry my Goddess, I will never touch you," Daniel spoke to only have Prudence creased her brows at him. But he got lost in her cold nature again, "you are too pure to be touched."
