She cleared her throat nervously, "W-where did you hear that? I was sure I said it in my head." Vincent raised his brows in amusement. She had never dared so much before and right now she risked the most by simply claiming she even thought that. What else was she supposed to do? 

"Is that what you think about me?" The Mafia king asked. Prudence held the clothes in her hand closer to herself in hope the petticoat did not reveal much. No matter what, it was still an inner wear! She shook her head in a no at his question when Vincent stood unbelievably close to her. "What else do you think, Prudence?" Vincent asked as the distance between them was not enough for her to just escape. How would she even dare escape? They both knew he could easily outrun her even without his vampire speed.

Prudence cleared her throat, "rarely I also think about how... you are... i-it's good you have achieved so much on your own..." 

"Through illegal means," Vincent completed sentence.
