Between me showing up uninvited in her family and Ivan's death, Deliah has more than enough reasons to want me dead—and that's before I consider her feelings for Will. However, when I look at her, I don't get the chill I felt when that woman smiled at me. It couldn't be her. 

Or she's a good actress. How would I know? It's not like she would tell the truth if I asked her. 

Beside her, Simeon is babbling on about how scared he was that he would never see me again, and how much he would have regretted not spending enough time with me. I feel nauseated listening to his fake concern. I have half the mind to stab him with my fork and end everything right now, until a hand lands on my thigh. 

I turn to Will, who smiles at me. "Are you tired, my love? Just a little bit longer, we will go home soon."
