Translations are bad; the FL's name goes between Qiao An and Jo An? And her friend's can Locke and Loco. MTL? But I'm DISGUSTED at the doctor uncle. He takes advantage of a patient (who is married to his nephew) - forcing her to let him bathe her, and check to on her when she EXPLICITLY requests a female nurse and is IMMOBILE. Not only that, the author did no research, suggesting that the FL take a *shower* when she's laid up in bed unable to move. Like, sorry? If you're that badly injured, you'd be wiped down, you wouldn't take a shower. All in all, so not recommend.
The synopsis seems good but the story is actually very frustrating. The fl tries to take revenge but she gets hurt most of the time like she keeps trying to make her husband pay but she didn't rly cause him a lot of damage. Its full of misunderstandings between her and the male lead

I apologize beforehand to the author. This book is trash. I was happy to see the MC finally stand up for herself and retaliate against her scum of a husband. She even found out that his uncle had been in love with her all the while. Then she goes and sleeps with him and in case she gets pregnant, pretends she's reconciled with the husband she wants to divorce, leaving him to be not just lied to by her but also by a woman he doesn't love and has been rejecting all this time. All this, supposedly, because she owes him and wants to compensate him. I don't buy it and I have no interest in wasting time reading about misunderstandings and other mishaps that could have been easily avoided from the very beginning. I'm really surprised at the positive reviews.

are my eyes deceiving me! the authors name is essence of troll and reading this story for 30 chapters I got majorly trolled. it's like the female lead intentionally makes the wrong decisions in life
I couldn't read past chapter 6...in ch 1, there was already a MAJOR inconsistency, but I kept going since I liked the synopsis. The FL is described as strong and she's supposed to get revenge, but her progress is weak and it's more like how little kids fight? i.e. tell the other party what you will do or give blatant clues to alert them...and she's so rude to the ML, who saved her life. She's not thankful and still doggedly believes the lies her scum husband told her about the uncle, instead of using her eyes to see and her brain to think and understand. it's another one of those where the author tells us the FL is awesome, brilliant even when her actions and thoughts are inconsistent :(
Tell you the truth guyz.. do not i repeat do not waste your time and coins to this novel…. This one is not good at all..🙄🙄🙄 confusing and wasteful .. the characters are dumb and idiots…
Story is decent but the FL is a stupid fool and the ML is a moron mixed together it is fire and gasoline and how both leads act I made it to chapter 40 before saying I’m done
Just the first five chapters and the FL’s name switches from Qiao An to Jo Ann. I usually don’t comment on translation qualities because it’s not an easy job but when you’re being charged to read, getting the main character’s name correct is not a hard ask.
If you're into plots that have a lot of misunderstandings, then this story is for you. I'm not into this type of genre, but I've invested a lot of time and money into this novel so I'll finish it until the end. But if I had known beforehand that it was full of so much miscommunication then I would have skipped out on this story. I think what also needs a lot of work is the translation of the pronouns. It jumps around a lot from he to she or vice versa and I have to reread the sentences to understand what the paragraph is trying to say. The character's names or at least the female lead's name is often alternated between her English name and Chinese name as well. I caught on to it quickly so it got less confusing, but the consistency is just not there. Hmm... although this is not the best story I've read so far, I'm still hoping for a positive outcome.
If you like weak FL and misunderstanding on top of more misunderstanding boy do I got the novel for you. If you don't like those avoid this novel like FL avoids her problems.
it's really frustrating. The female lead seems to not learn well from her mistakes. Additionally, she keeps everything to herself, even when she finds out who her true love really is--creating many more maddening misunderstandings. as many others have mentioned, there is inconsistency with the translation of her name by the translator and also writing contradictions by the author

I've read 130 chapters and I must say the title is misleading. So far it's about toxic relationships and VERY disfunctional families. They haven't even divorced yet. They 're just seesawing back and forth on whether or not to get divorced.

Such a stupid FL and ML...just full of stupid misunderstandings because they don't have brains to talk to each other...Communication is key to a healthy relationship so that you don't get fooled by outsiders! First, it says FL is having one kid, suddenly twins, and out pops three kids with ugly names????
This is the reason why webnovel writers shouldn't use the same old prompt over and over. I have read other similar stories and they were way better. Having misunderstandings is fine, but they have to be believable. Better next time author. You did well in the beginning.
