章 57: Failed setup

"What is so wrong about a mother trying to help her son settle down and start a family?" Kim Chae-Yeon asked as she stood to face him.

Her eyes were burning, but they were not fierce since she was only annoyed with his behaviour.

For how long would she continue to wait for him? 

He was already in his early 30s and as the only child she has, he had a duty to continue the family line or did he forget his filial duties?

Her waiting was what caused him to get to this age without settling down.

"Did you ask for my permission before doing things like this? You know very well how I hate these things yet you go ahead to do whatever you like. Do you take me for a joke?"

Kim Ji-hun didn't care about her help because he never asked for it. 

He was an adult and being well accomplished in his career, he found it disrespectful of her to do things like this when she knew how much he hated it.
