Alex sped up on the road, trying to get help from Richard as fast as the car would allow. He couldn't let her die.

"No hospital, please," she forced. Alex looked at her to make sure she was still alive.

"The hospital is the best way to help you and they will know what to do," he replied.

"Number. We can't…" His voice was hoarse. Alex looked behind him and his eyes were closed. A panic started for a few minutes until he realized that the man might have lost consciousness from loss of blood. Until then, he hadn't even thought about why he didn't want him to take him to the hospital. He was a shapeshifter and if he was over it If he took them to work, they would learn.
