章 87: Chapter 87. Trained to be Calm

Kritsana was overjoyed when he finally caught a glimpse of Isabelle's back from afar. For the first time in his life, after waiting for what felt like an eternity, he could sit side by side with the woman of his dreams and share a meal.

Before this, when the break time came, he was looking around for Isabelle but was unable to find her anywhere, until he asked some people and learned that Isabelle had gone to lunch with Samantha and the other back-office employees.

"Why didn't she tell me she wanted to go for lunch?" Kritsana asked, confusion and hurt evident in his voice. "I'm here for her."

"Because she didn't know you that well?" one of the coworkers replied, only to be met with an angry punch from Kritsana.

"We know each other well! Don't give me that bullshit!" Kritsana shouted, striking the coworker without regard for their gender.
